You see we all have our own perceived truth for example President Putin from Russia has his truth and President Zelensky of Ukraine has his truth the result is millions of refugees, an insecure Russia and a threatened western world. Such truths can lead to WW3. So it’s not our perception of ‘truth’ that matters it is us adapting to the ‘truth’ Jesus spoke about and introduced to the world 2000 years ago. Two witnesses to a auto accident often relate different accounts based on their own observations and prejudices. A skilled analysis will combine both accounts to gain a more comprehensive picture of the event. This conflict perfectly demonstrates the perceived TRUTH to the differing sides in this conflict, have you noticed the emotionalism displayed that causes each side to believe itself to be wronged by the others actions and the manner of the reported bias. The reported behaviour is of course is which media station you listen to. In the U.K. the Russian news station has been banned and in Russia the BBC has been banned, this indicates the perception gained by each side becomes their truth in previous wars the nation state always claimed God blessed their side. Ww1 and ww2 both Christian nations claimed he was on their side. A favourite US saying is ‘my country right of wrong’. Loyalty to one’s’ own country, nationalism, is seen as a higher calling, a person who kills an enemy is a hero, yet a person who kills a fellow citizen is a murderer. Presently ‘gun ho‘ ex soldiers want weapons and to kill the enemy in Ukraine. Individuals who would do that in their home country would be serial murderers or terrorists. The same has been done in the name of religion to manipulate the population.
Christian evangelists present the Christian teachings of hell as an incentive to doubting Christian’s to fear, the ‘fire and brimstone’ narrative, for suffering in hell for all eternity, that if they don’t repent and accept Jesus as their savour being ‘born again’, they will miss Christ as a wonderful and loving person with God in heaven. Heaven as some fantasy place full of love and joy with God. They refer to Jesus’ words on Gehenna and Hell and ‘many on the wide road (motorway/autobahn ) to destruction’ as meaning eternal suffering in hellfire for most people because most do not listen. These people are making a living, gaining celebrity status in terrifying vulnerable listeners into following them, their truth is a LIE, because it is based on the truth they have chosen for themselves. The crime they commit here is in mis-quoting Christ and his recorded scriptural words in these texts, that defame his Father, Almighty Gods’ reputation. This slander of Gods holy name as a creator of hell turns genuine potential Christian’s away from listening, many become atheists because it is better if there is not a God than an evil cruel one. The Israelite's wanted a god to suit themselves so because Moses was perceived to be late in returning to them from the mountain after receiving the Ten Commandments (40 days) from God they created their own god thus creating their own truth, a gold covered idol. They were so excited by their own creation of their own god they donated their personal savings in gold jewellery that was melted down to cover this statue of a cow. Just imagine how valuable a 22ct gold plated statue is worth. Imagine 10.000’s of gold rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces filling up a couple of large cases. Win the lottery time! This is how mad we all are doing things ‘our way’.

You may say ‘oh I would not do that? Sadly we all do that all the time. We put our needs above others, we hold our views as the most important, we think we know best, sincere church people, Christians are no better than non believers in fact it’s easy to think we believe the best so that makes us better than others, The disciples and women followers of Christ, they watched their Lord heal people, walk on water, raise the dead and feed over 5000 people. So you may think it would be impossible for them to copy idolatry and put themselves first. The apostles and the women were in ‘heated’ discussion (arguing) while Jesus washed their feet. He on another occasion was on his own while 50 to 100 followers were a mile or more behind, he met a foreign woman drawing water from a well he had a chat with her and ended up in her village preaching to her race of Samaritans. These followers eventually caught up with their Lord and Peter said, why are you talking to those people they are Samaritans? (Jews did not speak to those foreign people). Why were these followers not with him? Their arguments were so heated with each other that they did not notice Jesus slipping away. They were arguing about which group of them were the best followers. Imagine if you were Jesus how would you have felt, and it happened all the time for 3 years. You may think your children are difficult, but adult children are so much more so. Yet Jesus persisted with these followers of his, why? Because he loved them and taught them Christianity that would spread everywhere in the known world. One point is, if you put yourself first before others it can become self idolatry.

Faith was demonstrated by Peter, he left the boat stepped out onto the ocean, while keeping his eyes on his Lord, then after a few steps he looks at the waves and starts to sink. He cries out “Lord save me” oh “you with little FAITH” says Jesus. Matthew 14:26-33

Many feel that faith means just accepting God exists, blindly like building a house on sand but ‘blind faith’ is credulity its like a child believing in Santa Claus eventually the child finds out mum and dad have not been entirely truthful. Many are told the religion or culture that they are born into is the true one, my country right or wrong. Eventually they wake up and see that it’s not true, soldier’s find themselves fighting other peoples wars. If human leaders want to threaten and fight they should get in the ‘boxing ring’ and fight it out amongst themselves. Not to involve the ordinary people as shields. The civilians and the soldiers die and are injured because their leaders are warmongers. Putting our trust in human leaders is the same as having misguided faith in them. Trust needs to be earned and only once it’s earned can a person begin having a faith that they will do the right and safe thing.

Jesus showed his followers how to lead happier lives. 

He said “Love your neighbour as yourself“ so we can’t love our children, relatives, friends & strangers unless we Love Ourselves many look in the mirror and don’t smile, they don’t like the person they see, how sad but why? He said God loves the sparrows ‘are you not worth more” than these small birds. Matthew 6:24-34. So God valued his earthly children like you value yours. Jesus was sent by his Father to give up his life because he loved us. Just as you would to save your children. Almighty God is too big and powerful to do this himself but his heavenly son volunteered so he permitted God to implant Jesus as a conception into Virgin Mary’s womb. With her permission of course. Luke 1:26-31 kjv . Since humans are viewed very precious then once a person realises this then whatever abuses they have experienced can be overcome so they can love themselves even though other humans have not. So present human society has failed us but a new loving society is soon to come that is why Jesus said “thy kingdom come” because only living under his love will we feel happy and secure. Did you notice that that is the 2nd commandment, the 1st is to Love God, we can only love him by coming to know for sure he loves us. Jesus most eloquently demonstrated this love while he visited earth for 33 years. His half brother James became a follower of Jesus after his death and wrote a letter that is in the Bible in 2:9 in James’s commentary it says, “For love shows no respect of persons. Indeed partiality is sin. WTBS . So realising we are loved by God motivates us not to be partial to our fellow man. So the question you need to ask yourself is; do I want to be citizen/subject of government by God with Christ as King?
